Lotan week 3

6 comments:

  1. Week 3 (early) June on Kibbutz Lotan has been full of activity. Jake is transition walking, crawling on knees, riding around on tricycles and talking up a storm. Interesting that people on week 3 have started asking about his eyes. The nystagmus is still there but he is seeing everything perfectly as far as we can tell. We took a day trip by bus to Eilat for replenishments and came across a humus bar. Amy cooked the lemon cake in the solar oven for Arron's birthday. Our mud wall is nearly complete. The girls had a sleepover on the pixie dome. And we had a pot luck dinner with the other volunteers where Samantha and Elinor made pita. here in the last photo samantha is flipping pita while the goats wonder which planet she has come from..

  6. Hello.
We have left the Kibbutz and are now on the road. Hence why we are quieter. Have rented a car which has been really fun so far and more flexible of course.
Itinerary from here is Mitzpeh ramon, Masada, ein gedi - dead sea (all one dayers) then Jerusalem for 11 days. we will be in J for Jake's 1st Birthday.
Photos and blog updates to come.
    Everyone well and tanned.
Watching Hawks run (Bombers are losers) and hoping a Soccerros revival Saturday.
    Arron
