This place- En Gedi near the Dead Sea- is a Israel highlight. An absolute oasis in the middle of the driest desert. Fantastic hiking with great rewards at top of mountains- huge freshwater swimming pools. And then later the obligatory 'swim' and photo shots in the salty Dead Sea where you float.
